Between sessions of conference we did a little trip to Jefferson City to the Runge Nature Center.  We hiked over 1.5 miles and the kids did really well.  As we were turning a corner we came upon 6-7 wild turkeys.  Soren asked why there were big chickens out here.  :)  I tried to get a picture of the turkeys, but they were too far into the trees.

These pictures are all out of order.  Sorry!

This was Sydney's class fall party.  Toilet paper mummies was a fun giggly game!

Mizzou Football game.  It was fun until it poured!!

Fast-forward to 2013...
Springfest at the mall was fun.  The lines were long, but the kids enjoyed it.

We were surprised when Rapunzel, Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Brave showed up!

Snow melt has filled up the creeks to capacity.
Sledding with friends after being snowed in for days.
 New van.
My friend, Sheri, sledding with Soren since I'm technically not supposed to be sledding...(but I may have gone down once or twice....)

 Cuddling on the couch.

Here is kiddo #3 and it's a boy!  He wasn't being very cooperative on a face shot.  I love his little hand covering his face.  It reminds me of how much his dad likes pictures.  ha!  After some shifting around, we finally got a decent picture.

On the way to the ultra sound, Soren said he only wanted a baby brother.  I didn't want him to be disappointed, so we started discussing how we'll like a baby girl or boy.  By the time we were finding out, Soren was convinced it would be a girl and was disappointed when it was a boy.  Then Andrew explained how he can play pretend Iron Man with a brother and Soren was excited again.  Soren's picks for names so far are "Tony Baloney and Jelly Bean".

Paulette came to visit Oct 30, 2012 for a week.  These are the pictures she took and I love how well they turned out!  We all had a great time with Grandma.  We went to Arrow Rock, visited the Missouri River, shopped at the mall, played catch again and again with Soren, and had fun.

Sydney had her first dance recital.  She had a great time.  On the ride home she said she wished she had a recital everyday.  :)  I replied, "Why?  Because you got a new tutu and a bow?"  She said, "Yes, and flowers and cookies and drinks!"

MU campus has a free dance program for kids k-5 called Center Stage.  It's run by college kids.  I thought they did a great job.  We'll definitely do it again next semester.

The performance was pretty adorable and very funny to watch.

Striking her pose.

She loved having her friends in the class to laugh and play with.  Audrey (above) and Kacey (below).
