Spring is beautiful here in Missouri. To celebrate Andrew surviving his first year of graduate school (Yay!!!) we decided to take a trip, so we went to Adam-ondi-Ahman.

I have never seen cactus before in Missouri. Andrew happened to see it on the side of the trail.


The Grand River that boarders the valley of Adam-ondi-Ahman was flooding near Chillicothe.

I found this baby doll stroller at a yard sale for $5. Sydney loves it.

Thank you Wendy! Wendy sent a bunch of boy clothes that were duplicates and that Cutler had already grown out of. Plus some maternity clothes since I've grown out of a lot of mine! We like packages. :) Sydney thinks all of it is hers.

Pulling everything out of the box was a great half hours worth of entertainment. She looked at everything one by one and even pulled the pairs of socks apart.

Grindstone Nature Area

For cub scouts(I'm a wolf/bear den mother...haha) we are going on a nature walk on Wednesday at Grindstone Nature Area, so today we went and did some tree identification. Sydney enjoyed gathering rocks. Afterward, Andrew took us to Longhorn Steakhouse for an early Mother's Day treat!
